How to find us

We’re located in Te Toi Mahana (Community Housing). From the carpark, look for the orange Benchspace sign. If the workshop is open, there will be a bell to ring and you can come upstairs.

If you have impaired mobility, we can let you in through the flat access from Nairn Street. Please contact us to arrange this ahead of time.

Parking

It’s possible to get to BenchSpace by walking, bike, or public transport. But that’s not feasible for everyone and often not practical when transporting timber or tools.

The parking at 21 Brooklyn Road is for tenants only, but there’s usually plenty of on-street parking nearby and several paid parking lots a few blocks away towards the central city. We also have access via Nairn Street for loading or unloading timber and machines – please contact us in advance to arrange this.
